After sales strategy brings worldwide successes
ESAB Cutting Systems' after sales business has got off to a great start with successes reported from around the globe.
The Plasma Consumable Win Back Scheme has been a great success with, for example, the United States team winning back a number of customers in the Oklahoma area. ESAB engineers were totally successful in demonstrating the enhanced performance and advantages of the new ESAB PT-36 torch compared with the competition. Competitive pricing was made available and the value of the ESAB Plasma Partnership was underlined to each customer.
The importance of retrofits cannot be underestimated either during the current economic climate. ESAB has now a range of exciting standard retrofit products, including the VISION 51 R (Retrofit) package, to capitalise on a large market potential. This and other products have been specifically developed to retrofit easily to old machines. In Belgium, the Netherlands and France retrofit work really took off at the end of 2009 with a string of retrofit successes.
In the UK, completely refurbished second hand machines are also proving popular. ESAB Cutting Systems in the UK has the capability to rebuild machines to the highest standards and many customers recognise them as an extremely costeffective alternative to a new machine investment.
